The only other dipshit in this race is Richard Oejda who's from West Virginia and voted for trump in 2016. I dunno what else he's about honestly.

Other names we'll probably get introduced to in no particular order:

Bernie Sanders: 2016 Contender, Vermont Senator
Joe Biden: Obama's VP, Senator longer than you've been alive, probably.
Beto O'rourke: Ex-Texas Congressman who lost a senate bid against Ted Cruz while raising a bajillion dollars.
Kamala Harris: Attorney who's a Democratic Senator from California.
Michael Bloomberg: New York Billionaire/NYC Major
Michael Avenatti: Dem Grifter/Lawyer
Kirsten Gillibrand: New York Senator
Amy Klobuchar: Minnesota Senator
Cory Booker: New Jersey Senator
Martin O'Malley: 2016 non-contender who some say is still campaigning in Iowa to this day.

I'd say this is pretty much the curse of no real Dem stars rising after Operation Hillbot failed. Like others, I don't want Bernie or Biden for age reasons. Harris and Booker are still too green, imo, and need more than just being black or a woman going for them. Pretty much all the others are unlikely to be on the radar of anyone but those whose states they've worked in, with Beto's loss an omen of a more nationwide bid if for whatever reason the party stupidly pushes him. Bloomberg would depend on how much of his own money he decides to put into his campaign, I guess, but electing another rich dude really isn't something this country needs right now since you know damn well the GOP will spin he's not like "us" and those that bought into the Trump rhetoric will hypocritically agree. I would've gone for a Sanders/Warren ticket in 2016 had things panned out differently, but I think Trump has succeeded in making her damaged goods with the Pocahontas shit.

Honestly, the best thing that can happen for any Dem candidate is the Mueller bomb and Trump winding up impeached, to which they can pretty much waggle their fingers and point out they weren't associated with those fuckers, but I also don't see Mueller actually going for Trump until the January switch because there's too much risk the GOP will just shrug off any findings as long as they're majority.

I mean I'd extend it to having a completely decimated field of up-and-coming stars due to the lack of control they hold over the states. But at the same time I looked at the '16 republican field and wanted to blow my brains out so maybe this is standard practice. I'm still leaning towards Bernie just on policy alone because if you make age your deciding factor you're likely gonna fall for Beto and for fucks sake the guy has no policy measures he's willing to fight for.

Most of these candidates will probably beat Trump. If Hillary lost by 70k across three states thanks to a combination of Anthony Weiner, Rudy Giulliani, and James Comey I'm sure anyone can realistically beat him. Except Warren.

My honest predictions.

Bernie isn't going to win the primary.
Biden is going to pull a Jeb!
Elizabeth Warren is either going to last until the end or quietly vanish away.
Beto is the candidate to beat.
Bloomberg is going to pick up exactly no traction outside of New York.
Avenatti will probably say some dumb shit at a debate we're all going to meme up if he makes it that far.
Kamala Harris will probably be the democrat's darling who might take it if Beto eats shit.
Booker, Gillibrand, and basically any other politican are going to eat shit immediately and forever end up on the junior table of debates until news networks get tired of hosting them.

Unlikely. Jeb's demise was just as largely a result of a character like Trump summarily roasting him on an almost daily basis as it was his gaffes. There's no one on the Democrat side that would willingly go balls deep on Biden like that. No way.
