This doesn't necessarily apply to people here but I can see some validity in the way people react to people like Hillary, Warren and Pelosi.

p insipid article, Fox is a bastion of hypocrisy but what people tend to have a visceral rejection of is artifice and Hillary was composed in toto of such. she was a milquetoast third way candidate under active FBI investigation with decades of baggage that got outflanked on the left, and even then was defeated solely because of the absurdity of the electoral college. there were many reasons voters rejected her beyond vagina! and even with those vagina! rejections she won 3 million more votes than Trump and received all of 50,000 fewer than Obama's 2012 total.

The fact that this is such a striking label on Hillary itself is a pretty good indicator though. She isn't really that much better or worse in this regard than your typical politician, but she still has a much higher standard she needs to meet apparently.

Just like Obama was held to a higher standard than any president before him (let's not even get into Trump here) women have that same barriers to deal with. It may be an obvious point (country is pretty damn sexist) but it's all I was saying.
