Trump is doing what he does best, flattening the distinctions between proper and improper behavior. Hell the entire FBI Russiagate investigation began because of foreign intel about the Trump campaign (when the Aussie diplomat got drunk with Papadapolous and he told them about Russia hacking emails) and the idea that it's ok because Obama's admin went through the proper steps to authorize an investigation gets blurred with how Trump would engage with such matters.
