This seems a bit high. Only reason federal courts are still open is because we have a safety net in our budget of 3 weeks. That ends on the 11th. At that point, most federal courts will start closing their doors.

I've softened my position a bit - I'm not so hardheaded that I'm unwilling to accept new information. You kind of put it in perspective for me when you threw all those votes into a thread that clearly showed Dem's were voting as I'd expect them to and that they just didn't have the numbers. I just don't appreciate being insulted when I have gone to great lengths to remain civil myself, so I got flustered and doubled down on defensive rhetoric.

As far as my earlier position on not voting for Hilary, I live in NY, I voted for Jill Stein, my vote doesn't matter anyways because NYC is the only district that matters in NY state.

I abhor Hilary Clinton, she represents to me continuing the status quo and I personally think if we elected her - we wouldn't have such a strong rallying cry for the reform of the things that are in this bill.

If nothing else, Trump getting elected cast a light on all that needed to change to strengthen our Democracy, every day he is testing the limits of not what is moral, but what is legal.

I've voted in every election I've been able to since turning 18 (including primaries) and I own 0 guns.

Though I do enjoy shooting quite a bit, and have 1000's of hours in at the range, owning guns in NY state is pretty restrictive. Mostly just shot my dad's and my uncle's guns.
