Foxconn announces that they're scaling back plans for their Wisconsin plat.

The Taiwanese manufacturing giant no longer expects to make liquid crystal display panels at the Wisconsin plant, a company official told Reuters.

It plans to hire mostly engineers and researchers not manufacturing workers.

Louis Woo, special assistant to Foxconn boss Terry Gou, told Reuters that the firm was still evaluating options for Wisconsin - including creating a "technology hub" made up largely of research facilities for high-tech products aimed at health care, industrial.

But he said high labour costs in the US meant making advanced TV screens didn't make sense.

"In terms of TV, we have no place in the US," he told Reuters. "We can't compete."

Trump publicly counters US intelligence's report on Iran & North Korea.

In a series of tweets, Mr Trump said US intelligence officials "seem to be extremely passive and naive when it comes to the dangers of Iran. They are wrong!"

Iran, he continued, was "making trouble all over the Middle East, and beyond" in 2016, but had been "much different" since the US pullout from the "terrible" Iran nuclear deal.

However, Mr Trump warned that Tehran remained "a source of potential danger and conflict", referring to reported recent Iranian rocket tests.

However, the intelligence report warned that Iran's "regional ambitions and improved military capabilities" would probably threaten US interests in the future.

The president wrote that "time will tell what will happen with North Korea, but at the end of the previous administration, relationship was horrendous and very bad things were about to happen.

"Now a whole different story. I look forward to seeing Kim Jong Un shortly. Progress being made - big difference!"

The US intelligence report earlier concluded that North Korea was "unlikely to give up" its weapons stockpiles and production abilities while it tried to negotiate "partial denuclearisation steps to obtain key US and international concessions".

Having nuclear weapons was seen as "critical to regime survival", the report added.

In Singapore, Mr Trump and Mr Kim signed an agreement pledging to "work toward complete denuclearisation" - but there was no agreed pathway and little progress has been made since then on the issue.

ICE is force-feeding six detained migrants through their nose because they're on a hunger strike.

AP says the detainees, mainly from India and Cuba, went on hunger strike to protest against guards verbally abusing them and threatening to deport them.

They are also protesting against the length of time they are being detained while they await legal proceedings.

As well as the detainees in El Paso, another four men are on hunger strike in Miami, Phoenix, San Diego and San Francisco, ICE says.

Homeland Security created a fake university in Michigan to lure nationals seeking to extend their visas through education. Those duped faced deportation.

The University of Farmington didn't have any professors or hold any classes — but that didn't matter to "students" who used the sham school to stay in the U.S. illegally, the government says.

Officials say the university attracted recruiters who were paid thousands of dollars for connecting students to the bogus school, which had an actual office space in Farmington Hills, Mich. Eight alleged recruiters are now under arrest, and dozens, if not hundreds, of people who enrolled could face charges and/or deportation as part of an undercover operation that began in 2015.

Posing as the university's owners and staff, agents from Homeland Security Investigations worked with the recruiters to gather false student records, including transcripts, to deceive immigration authorities, according to the indictment. HSI operates within U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

We went over this before, but every country was already breaking this so why bother? No one is sure if America is already breaking it, we probably are, but why keep up appearances? Shit, Russia already released a video a year ago of a new type of nuclear bomb hitting florida. I honestly am surprised this didnt happen sooner.

Why impose those kind of sanctions that help no one when you can just proliferate which helps anyone in the arms business. No established nation is starting a nuclear war. This is all just calls for certain types of companies to make more money off the state.

Russia has announced it is suspending participation in the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty -- one day after the US declared it would pull out of the agreement unless Moscow complies with its terms within 180 days.

Treaty could have been for show for all I care, but nuclear weapons being involved just gives off a really bad vibe, kind of like we're heading towards a very grim future.
