    Up to you. The amount of magia points needed per level increases at every 10th Magia Level, so over time it gets more time consuming. 100 magia levels seems to be a good average for a character for most situations as it's about 550 battles total and you can boost their primary stat by 100(500 for HP). It's 1550 from levels 100-200, then 2550 from 200-300, etc.

    You can also reset them every 2 weeks. This was helpful for me because I gave Riku(KH) a 100 MAG points when fighting Madeen but normally I'd have them allocated to ATK.

    I'm on android and there's been times at work that I've just run a macro in some low stamina Realm Dungeons to farm magia up for folks.

    1) Break your teams into realms and elemental squads. Slot CSBs as needed. They are not required for 4* magicite but make it a lot easier
    2) It's 50/50 on Ace Striker usage. Most of the time your DPS need either +30%damage vs weakness or the appropriate weapon/element RM to push harder.
    3) Ysh BSB is garbage tier unless you have her USB2. Useful for mage parties. Top healers are Elarra (USB1 can be bought with lenses) Aerith USB2 (Her LM2 will proc off w-casts from LMR) and other healers are situational. Dancers WHMs are nice with the new full break + heal 6* ability. Selphie got buffed to use dancer as well.
    4) Dream dungeons are tied to a realm event. Treat them like torments. It's the new way to get rubies for abilities.
    5) Meta is Chain + speed fix. It's why Elarra with USB and Allegro and Aerith are still so powerful. Phys teams can try to fit in Ignis BSB to feed a DPS with Crit fix and crit damage boost.
    6) Record dungeons are 1 and done

    Also, Wind magicites are still the biggest pain in the ass. Typhon and Syldra will probably make you quit if you ever hit 5* magicite.

    And for any content you can select an RW, just use Godwall for 180+. Arcane RWs for anything less that doesn't require auto battle skills. I mostly auto battle the weekly events.

    And finally: You will have to do reclears of the current Choco event to get all the rewards. It isn't worth it to grind for everything though. Grab the mithril, chain relic, artifact stone, and anything else you consider of value.

    You mean like 1 team per FF then 1 team for Fire, 1 for ice? If yes is there a guide to know which SB are great per elemental? Because if I do have a lot of 1 elemental, I need to know which is good and which is not

    Are teams now mostly Physical?, Magical or 50/50

    4) Dream Dungeons are boss battles that give rewards similar to how Torment gives rewards, just without the completion time restriction.
    It's our only way that we have outside of Torments to earn Rubies.
    5)Keep an eye on your lenses for the Record Laboratory. You can use those to purchase some SBs that are handy. A couple I would recommend are Elarra's USB1(Magica Album), Edges pBlink, Onion Knight's pUSB/mUSB (if you don't have them)
    6)Outside of first time completion, I don't usually go back to Realm or Record dungeons. Realms give 8 or so Mythril per update. Record Dungeons give us Crystal Waters. Waters are a finite supply at the moment and the only way to get them is in the Record dungeons. It is worth having as as you proceed through them, you'll be able to give characters up to a 30 stat boost with them.

    Is Magia also new to you? After a character reaches level 99, every battle they are included in will net them 1 Magia XP, after a set number of magia XP you will get a magia level, which will allow you to boost some stats on that character.


    Most of the 260+ content I handle I can tackle with the various Magicite/Torment teams I have saved in my favorites list so team building isn't too arduous unless it's a new difficulty battle for me.

    I find it easier to have a full realm team now with a few tweaks because I already premade them for torments/Dream events. You could easily A-Team anything with your strongest soul breaks for weekly events. But you will need a realm team with 1 flex to tackle Dream 350.

    As far as strong soul breaks go, just any awakening and select USBs.

    5* Magicite are designed to have one battle that's physical resistance and one battle that's magical resistant. Torments don't have this restriction, but I usually find myself trying to stick to one or the other so I don't feel the need to boost ATK and MAG if I don't have a USB that does both in that realm.

    For Torments you are also given a Realm chain RW for the battle, but I try to use existing elemental chains I may possess on an in realm character already. It lets me use the Healing RW instead which can be useful if I don't have an overly powerful healer at my disposal.

    Element just reset this AM, about 3 months early.

    Our next realm reset should be around March/April.

    They refresh when they update the pool. So now there are a lot more awakenings and arcane in the elemental banner pulls.

    I have tended to pull on realm first, Core, especially since the refresh, is worth using the free login tickets for because the pool is so wildly unbalanced in favor of Awakenings and Ultras for Tyro and Elarra. Elemental pulls (at least the 15 mythril first pull) I saved for when I needed help with that specific magicite or the element was ubiquitous with a specific realm (like water for X, holy for Tactics, ice for VIII, etc).

    Very few are worth pulling beyond the 15 mythril initial IMHO unless you have absolutely nothing for that realm or specific element and want to catch up.

    Since you are trying to get back into things, most of the 2nd event banners now guarantee 2x 5* instead of only 1. At 50 mythril a pop, at worst those 2nd banners are only slightly worse than the opening banners and often enough better than the first banners with overall selection.

    Pull on them all. The worst case consolation prize is 2* anima lenses from 5* dupes. They become more and more rare with the current banner format. And at 15 mithril, it's a bargain.

    If I were in your position, I would be pulling on the Core realm banner for 15 mythril and then with whatever tickets I get via login (1 every 2 weeks) until I nabbed Elarra's Awakening or Glint and Tyro's USB1/4 and LMR.

    For the realm banners, I would use the 15 pull to clear as much of any realm torments as I can with a goal to sub 30 the 280 level ones. Many can be done with 1 or 2 off realm characters and one filler realm character (wrath/entrust support or Breakdowns/off healer). Those rubies earned can then buy 6* abilities which can make sub 30 or clearing other dungeons much easier. Id go for Thief, 5 hit Spellblades, Knight, and Black Magic for initial wants.

    For the element banners, I would wait for the 15 pull (and maybe even a 50 pull now that theyre refreshed) to help tackle specific 4/5* magicite fights.

    After considering those three things, I would then turn my attention to particularly loaded banners with a good mix of tech for an element (like fest banners coming up late December) or realm specific ones. The next REALLY good event banners aren't until Laguna/Edea and Tidus in mid/late Jan.

    Also, always consider trying for a chain. The Black Chocobo events can earn you a free chain in that element, and often those banners add in a strong chain or two as well.

    Taking a break was great for me, and with all the new types of free pulls my disappointments aren’t as bad. Can be hard to find good individual teams for all the things still. And my inventory space is always at max because of it

    So about the choco event, when earth will end, will it come back when it passes all the elemental?

    I believe JP is running through the next round of Black Chocobo events, but I think they are new rewards. Maybe someone else can confirm.
    I'm pretty certain they offer a different chain. The ones in these events are what people have called 0.5 chains (not sure why, maybe less of an elemental damage boost compared to the first round of chains?) but the ones in the newer events may be a little better.

    Choco events are a monthly occurrence that focuses on a different element each iteration. Next month is dark. Rewards are probably always refreshed iirc.

    The free chain is considered a 0.5 chain because it's a 20% field bonus and no other entry effects.
    Chain 1.0 is 20% field bonus + entry (Tidus/Shantotto 11x hit + party IC, or Snow 11x hit + 2k HP Stock for example)
    Chain 2.0 is 50% field bonus + boost. Either 50% atk, 30% mag/mnd, or 50% mag
