    Whatever they're doing with Kate's family is entirely disconnected from the comics. Her parents are very very different characters then what we've seen so far in the show.

    They're borrowing the overall feel (and some of the characters like the Tracksuit mafia and Kazi) of the Matt Fraction run for this but the storylines are totally different. Comics Clint vs MCU Clint are very different people, and since it's unlikely the MCU will ever introduce characters like Clint's brother the stories will never really match up.

    Brother probably won't show up ever but regarding Kate's stepdad. Spoilering it just in case for people but it's not a huge thing.

    Stepdad is the MCU version of Swordsman who was Hawkeye Clint's mentor at one point in the comics and eventual adversary after Clint went hero. He also joined the Avengers for like five minutes at one point.

    I mean he got offscreened so it's definitely possible. Especially since they were arguing about finances and then the next time we see her she's well off again

    What a good episode. Starts a bit slow but it went super fast by the time the action kicked in.

    Pym arrow was great! Barton's action parts were really well done; so were the teamup scenes. Show really makes you feel for Barton. This is the character development he's sorely needed all these years. He's going to give up the mantle and now i give a shit about the character.

    I feel like he had the Family Man, Regular Guy traits well established in the other films, and it's just a case of more is better for him, since he did have less exposure. Widow and Hawkeye definitely needed their own movies before Infinity War. Black Widow's was a poorly planned, poorly written trainwreck that should have definitely released sometime after Civil War, and if I do rewatch the entire MCU some years into the future, it'll be a question if I even watch BW again, but if I do- considering when my son gets old enough is when I'll likely rewatch with him- I'll be placing it between Black Panther and Infinity War, and just cut out the end credit scene entirely. (Though this would make the blatant plot hole of her sacrificing her life because she 'has no family' even more glaring.)
    This show at least is relevant to being shown after Endgame and does build onto the post-blip world, plus it is likely wrapping up his character. (which still probably should have been done at the very end of phase 3 or very early phase 4 before all the crazy multiverse stuff started happening. But this show has the benefit of actually being great entertainment while doing the characters a good service.

    Black Widow is arguably more of an origins story for her than it is about Natasha. See it when ya can.
