Eh I'd rather just forget GB2 happened minus the Statue of Liberty scene.

I really wish they'd do something to tie in the cartoon series.

They did a pretty good with this but I’d rather they come up with new ideas from here on out. Make something that stands on its own now, I don’t want any more ‘member berries (at least in terms of being the main focal point of the story, nods here and there cool, the franchise being what it is, got it)

that they destroyed that dimension by crossing the streams and that's hwo they destroyed gozer/the gateway

There's still going to be member berries as they are setting up the sequel that Winston is going to be financing the new group, so at least for now, it's still going to have that connection to the original series

yah I’m okay with the connection to the original as it’s technically a sequel, I’m more just “please don’t just keep recycling all the main villains”. I want new stuff to drive the nostalgia forward, not just soft reboots with children.

I’m probably in the minority though lol
