Should also note there's a kid in the video from my local Catholic high school (a different Kentucky Catholic school), wearing his Catholic high shirt saying some egregiously stupid shit. The school pretty much said "if he wasn't wearing a Catholic high sweater, it wouldn't be an issue, he's a kid who said something dumb", and that was the end of it. As for your other point, I can see where you're coming from and I do agree that abuse is traumatizing regardless of sexuality. I would argue that it has more potential to be traumatizing for a gay kid due to all the surrounding stigma and abuse that gay kids receive, but honestly that's just my point of view and I'm not going to tell you that you're wrong or go to bat over it.

Fun story. When I was a teenager me and my friends on the weekends would hang out around bars at night and then pick a fight with random drunk adults leaving. When the cops would show up we’d tell them they jumped us. They’d arrest them and tell us to go the fuck home lol. Thinking back I’m glad we were never shot. Thank you NYC gun laws.

Listen, you are not going to convince me. My mother was a special needs teacher, and I have seen some shit.

One girl who was in middle school was the size of a 6 year old, and had Tourette syndrome, and all kinds of mental deficiencies. Her father locked her up in the closet for years (toddler) and opened the door to feed her crackers and beat the shit out her. Don’t fucking tell me, “yeah but she didn’t have that added gay layer, so it’s not as bad.”

I also won’t go into specifics on my recent students but, shit man. The stuff I know. Kids are not being beaten for being gay. They are beaten for power and that’s the excuse they are given. Every kid is given an excuse, but it has nothing to do with them. It’s the abuser being a fuckface, and they are going to be an abusive fuckface whether the kid is gay or not.
