Apparently their coats change quite dramatically so curious to see what he ends up, mom is almost solid deep red and dad is fawn

Yeah tri color corgis look similar to that pup, but the colors are slightly lighter. My shibas fur lightened up a bit as he aged, so I guess it's just a dog thing.

Whenever I hear Baxter, I associate that name with one thing:

I want corgis!
Corgis are fucking awesome. Grew up with 3 and my parents used to breed them, think they did like 10 or so litters over the years. My childhood was just filled with corgi puppies everywhere
If I ever get a dog it’s gonna be a corgi and I’m gonna name it Ein.
Corgis are really the only small dogs I like. Always preferred big dogs. Wouldo e to have a Husky since they'll talk to you, but need a bigger home first

Baxter just seems so cookie cutter. I like creative names that aren't necessarily seen too often.
last dog i had named Boudica after the Celtic warrior-queen that razed Londinium
rip big B you were a real one
You got it already or waiting a few weeks? 4 weeks is pretty young

From what I remember for corgis it's usually based on how long we had to keep the ears taped up, once that was done they were usually ready to go. That's usually around 8-12 weeks depending on the dog
