Took pics at my kid's drumming concert. While editing them, I noticed things what looked like bruises on one of his best friends face. They barely showed up in real life, but they were really obvious in the photos due to grading the pics. I pulled the kid's dad up away from other people on Friday and asked him about them. They factually, were not bruises. It was dirt actually. Took my son to another kid's party on Saturday, both of my son's best friends were there along with his mom. She didn't communicate with me. Didn't respond to the invitation we sent out on Sunday for my son's birthday. Didn't respond to my good morning today. Blocked my wife on all communication methods they share as well I guess I'll see how the dad is feeling at Cricket this Friday if he bothers to communicate with me.
I feel bad for my son losing out on time with one of his best friends, and I'm actually super annoyed at this.

Am I understanding the story correctly? Their kid had poor hygiene in the lightest way possible, and theyre ghosting you and your boy cause of it? Trust me I get it, no parent likes to be reminded that they're slacking, but big yikes for that little tyke.

Not poor hygiene to be exact. It was after lunch during the middle of school and the kids play on lawn and play equipment. I pulled him up about it like 2 days later. Basically, they had done nothing wrong. I thought I saw something, it was nothing. But yeah.

Hey man, this is going to be hard to talk about, but I noticed some bruises on X that REALLY showed up in pictures. I know he's quite active and I'd ignore them if they were anywhere else but his face. I wanted to make sure things are ok at home. I know it's pretty forward of me, but I would not have been able to live with myself if I kept my mouth shut and found out later in life that something bad was happening.
