Mark my sweet boy. man needed that date.
S4 already starting to ramp up. They are saying it will hit in '26.
New episode was good, mostly. Didn’t enjoy the credit scene because like…
Spoiler: show
I wouldn't be worried about it, the storyline coming out of it is one of the best in the series.
Tbh with how much I hate that gimmick it’s going to be a tough sell, I’ll still watch it and give it a fair shake though since I love the show.
Aaron Paul is one good actor
and ya that trope mostly sucks but it was less played when Kirkman wrote it 16 years ago, and he did it damn well. imagine it'll work here as well despite the oversaturation.
I haven't watched the⁰q episode, but I'm making the assumption of which story we're talking about. I don't think anyone's really done it like the comics and, presumably, the show are about to do it. I wonder how many episodes they're going to spend on the arc. This show tends to uno-reverse the anime method of seaon-long arcs.
COMIC SPOILER, FUTURE STORYLINE, WILL SPOIL SHOW IF YOU HAVENT READ COMICS
Spoiler: show
Also, most every change the show has made has been for the better. If they tweak it a bit, I have complete faith this storyline will play out in such a manor it deserves, because as AG said, it was done really fucking well even by today's oversaturated standards. I just hope the magnitude of it isn't lessened by competing stories. It's a busy season of building up some banger story climaxes.
Spoiler: show
I half expected him to yell Invincible can’t keep getting away with it throughout the episode lol.
Nah fuck that.
Spoiler: show
As far as the multiverse shenanigans, I’ll give this show the benefit of the doubt. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t roll my eyes at that credit scene.
yeh Powerplex has a sympathetic backstory because he's so broken by pain but probably the best thing anyone could do for him or others at this point is put him down. but Mark ain't that guy.
Spoiler: show
As I mentioned briefly above, I could understand his frustration and grief. But at the same time, he was blaming the wrong guy from the word go. He works at the pentagon, he has all the evidence, he knows Mark was trying to save people and was getting his ass beat by Omniman, the real villain, and yet still chose to blame everything on Mark and try to kill Mark because of it.
This is kinda spoilery but a continuation
Spoiler: show
Overall, not the best villain of the show. Some added depth and motivation, it just didn't land for me.
Ep 7
Spoiler: show
Spoiler: show
Oh hey that was mercifully short, knowing nothing about it I expected him to be the big bad of this season... again. Good to know.
Spoiler: show
Wish the seasons were longer... 10 Episodes would be nice... but if not longer than I wish they'd come out a little more frequently. I guess 2 years isn't really that bad to be honest, Its just sad to see one more episode left before the next hiatus =(
hell yeah
So this is about what may come next season, so a question for people with comic knowledge I guess.
