I'm not specifically because I don't want to spoil whats coming next. I might read it when the series finishes.

I'm late to this part but for this spoilered part which, isn't really a spoiler so I'm going to discuss it like that. I don't believe "Mark gets super strength when Angry" is whats happening, because its been a common theme since I think season 2, maybe even season 1 but its been a while, that Mark always holds back when he's fighting due to not wanting to kill anyone, even in seemingly life or death fights, he's always holding back "Killing blows".
In the season 2 Mid break fight, Omniman is constantly chastising Mark for holding back as an example, and throughout episodes you can often tell he's never really fighting at "Kill your opponent" strength, the fight with that lady Viltramite in the previous season as example, and (this is a spoiler that i wont spoil)

I may be forgetting specifics to support my theory here, but I'm relatively certain I picked up on the vibe Mark is always holding back when he fights to not accidentally kill anyone, even when he's getting his ass BEAT. The "Superstrength from Anger" bit I think is more "Loses emotional control and starts throwing punches with the intent to kill".
Thats the vibe I got anyway. He's extremely "anti-kill", and that affects his fighting.

^ agreed on all points.
I just re-read the series. The show has the advantage of 20 years of storytelling experience over the comics and it shows. I'm usually very leery about book to movie adaptation changes, but so far most everything has been an improvement. Amber being fucking terrible aside...
Also, show only folks, watch the Atom Eve special. It's good.
don't recall who was asking for a fighting game, but, here ya go:

What in the NRS jank is that? Looked interesting until the actual gameplay started.
All the animations and sound effects look like they're ripped straight out of an NRS game, I was actually surprised it's not made by them
I thought Mortal Combat already had Invincible.
Omniman was a guest character in the most recent one
the fuck is NRS?
NetherRealm Studios
From what Maximillian said on stream is that this is a bunch of old Killer Instinct devs doing this and hes had hands on for a while during its development.
Nice of them to put front and center that we'll finally see Thragg next season
