The whole not-hell trip felt like a filler episode to me, and could have just been condensed to an A plot for the first half of an episode. I don't know how much of that is setup for a future episode since I haven't read the comics. Hopefully they leave enough stuff to still warrant checking out the comics at some point.

Also that's the second time now they teased the Mummy guy? And no resolution to that, unless this is going to be the new punching-bag villain to keep randomly cutting to at the end of an episode to see where he gets stuck at next.

I loved the hell episode. The battles were fun and well produced and the running iron man helmet gag was worth it alone. Yeah it was filler but it still kept the thematic flow of the current arc.

Plus I love everything about Darkblood lol

The helmet joke dragged on too long. Actually that whole scene did. I like the character and how it's basically just Detective Hellboy, but we haven't really seen much of him at all until now, and it was under a different context. Least we got Bruce Campbell Satan?

And same here. I was half a season behind, so in a week I went through all of that and the current crop of this season. The show for the most part makes good use of the fact the episodes are double your usual runtime, without it feeling too much like they just sandwiched two episodes back-to-back.

Is the mole a tv show exclusive plotline? I haven’t been trying to avoid spoilers, but I also haven’t been looking, but considering everything else I’ve managed to learn about spoilers just by existing, this has remained unknown to me.
My thoughts on who it is…

Tje only reason I’m not 100% on board with it being Allen’s gf is that it seems way too obvious. But then I can also actually see it being the leader old dude viltrimite guy for some convoluted reason. Of course, those are like the only other members of the coalition we know, other than just one of these random Star Trek dudes lol
