definitely glad the mole plot line didn't drag on. My prediction is scourge 2.0 gets used on viltrum and kills everyone but Mark and Oliver survive due to mixed race.

I wish Zoe was stronger. She feels totally useless against the viltrumites.

Yah Zoe, for as interesting a character as she is, feels like an odd addition to the team? I feel like shes completely overpowered by Viltrumites and I dont see her purpose in any of these fights outside of being an easy target to distract the others. Haven't read the comics so maybe theres something special to the character we'll find out soon?

But yah, says a lot about how much I like this show that despite hating weekly schedules, I can't stop myself from just.. watching it as it comes out. Man, 4 more episodes doesnt feel like enough.

Comic vs Show Tech Jacket are completely different characters. Comic version is a few years older and male (named Zach) and already an established hero who had his own series like 6 years prior to the Viltrumite War.

It's been so long since I read that part of the comics but I don't remember then being this useless no

she was the only non-Viltrumite to solo a Mark variant and win, she blew up a buncha the trash mobs, and saved Allen. + there was an explicit scene where the Gelderians were one of the only races to repel a Viltrumite invasion and she was the only Gelderian willing to help.

she's considerably weaker than a Viltrumite rn but still one of the strongest fighters earth can offer, around Oliver level. power scaling brain rot in all fandoms is getting a leetle beet much, the Viltrumites are supposed to be nigh-unstoppable to other specieses, it's supposed to be an uphill battle.

neither her nor Oliver can win against one evenly, Allen is the strongest non-Viltrumite along with Battle Beast and he get wrecked by 2, and there's 50 of em. Coalition needs everyone that can even take a punch from a Viltrumite and keep fighting.

iirc at this point in the comics Allen was capable of soloing a Viltrumite. Both he and Tech Jacket are weakened a bit from their print versions

maybe you remember Kran as the other big comic reader, but the Viltrumite blood-letting after Argall's funeral was a show addition no ? actually really liked it, showed the tragedy of their culture. it was never even good for the Viltrumites themselves.

I feel like Invincible's just been a complete punching bag this entire season. Guess that's to be expected when fighting a bunch of other Viltrumites though.

Also Space Racer's laser wasn't enough to deal with the planet on its own? Or was the idea that the force from the trio behind it was physically pushing it further through than it would have otherwise?
