How do I ignore them when one of the very first things I say is that there is still work to be done.
Online personas are manifestations of their actual personality free of real life consequences so their actual thought processes and beliefs get to shine.
We also live in a time where a non-insubstantial portion of the white population takes to the streets chanting that blacks and Jews won't replace them and straight up murder a black person, and vote for a moron because they see said moron as key to keeping out brown people.
You think of recognition of white privilege as bias against you. I see it as key to prevent embedded discrimination that manifests in things like law firms elevating a partner class of eleven white men and one white women.
"The LinkedIn image was a stark illustration of what can happen when promotion decisions are relationship-driven and concentrated in the hands of white-male rainmakers, even in workplaces with a commitment to diversity. [....] More than 20 women and people of color interviewed for this article described obstacles to achieving diversity at Paul, Weiss. Many said that opportunities to be groomed for partner are harder to come by for women and minorities. Even as their work shined, some said, they failed to break into the good graces and social circles of the firm’s top lawyers, who must champion those hoping to earn a lucrative spot as a partner. 'There are white males at the firm that are visibly being given more time in business development opportunities and client contact,' said a female minority lawyer at Paul, Weiss who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of reprisal. 'They’re clearly being cultivated.'"
I dont ignore the latter things, I think they are just unfortunate symptoms of the old overt racism that your ancestors faced here, but that shit is dying fam, PoC have high ranking positions all over this country and that is growing rapidly, same for women, and that is fucking awesome, our generation and below find racism abhorrent for the most part. I've talked about it many times here but I grew up around people, even in my own family dropping the hard R daily and meaning it, as I got older I realized they were ignorant and lashed out at them. I know what racism is, it's the last thing I need a voxplainer on trust me.
You want to hold white people responsible for a system they were born into without any choice then go ahead, but that's exactly how the racists think.
People like myself who have seen the error of their ways, or have learned what they were taught when they were young should be the type of people you ally with, but no you are in here daily saying things like "white people deserve no rights", and insinuating that I myself am racist at every turn, you can trust that kind of thing hurts your cause. I get that you are trolling, much like I often do myself, but I really do worry you have become quite the racist yourself.
