Don't like the art style, not mad it's being done.

I will however, admit that seeing the gameplay, makes me really want that seamless overworld in a LttP remake.

But yeah, I look forward to the day when the Switch is emulated, and the game is modded to change the character models.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. The graphics are light hearted and charming and the gameplay will be high quality.

Side note tho does Symphony of the Goddesses still tour? I saw it once in Grand Rapids and I'm dying to take my girlfriend to see it.

I think this game looks great I can't wait to get it. Even showed it to my older sister that still has og copies of NES Zelda's and got me into the series. My buddy said if he didn't already own a switch he'd buy one for this.

This game is going to be great don't hate friends.

having given it some time I suddenly love the art direction. don't ask me how that happened. I think the original reaction was just shock, and now that this has worn off the game really does look beautiful. it's cartoony and shiny and that's exactly what Link's Awakening needs. I would have almost preferred WW graphics, but those have been done to death already anyway. more than anything the graphics remind me of 3D Dot Heroes (minus the voxels, obviously) and that is a very good thing.

I do agree that this is very similar to the WW reaction and I think it will go the same way, with everyone eventually coming around

Maybe they'll sneak in some new shadow bosses in the Wind Fish egg like they did for DX. Would love a Vaati or X-Blight Ganon cameo.

This isometric toon look is a perfect fit for what Awakening was.
