I love coleslaw, esp the heavy on sugar/vinegar type. Some of it goes way too heavy on the mayo and its not good. Almost same thing for macaroni salads.

I make my potato salad with a dollop of mayo, coarse mustard, cider vinegar, hard boiled eggs, bacon, onion, paprika, salt, pepper, a light drizzle of some bacon grease.

Real talk bacon grease is often a great fat to add to and/or cook things with. Though I found it can also be terrible... tried doing grilled cheese with it instead of butter once lol. What you do for storage btw?
