All the data mining and testing people did and macro sets people had on what day in game it was. The day I learned someone spent weeks figuring out fSTR was the day I was like nah.
neat
Y'all are the ones going on about how the game wasnt addictive or bad when there's overwhelming evidence contrary to these positions but hey, keep the rose colored glasses on.
It was fun, the feeling of figuring out the problem and solving it. But it was fleeting, and turns out not too useful in real life. I miss it, even though I understand how bad and unhealthy it was, which is why I haven't reinstalled it even though I could.

But it was really fucking fun.

addictive =/= bad which seems to be your retarded position
"bad" is entirely subjective but I don't think a game people are playing 17 years later is in the realm of "bad games"

Guess medical personnel and WHO are all retards for coining gaming disorder
these are pesonal mental health problems, not exclusive to ffxi or whatever thing a person is addicted to
people get addicted to their mental health medication, checkmate
Lol. I see why Day doesn't want to confront the fact that gaming disorder is a real thing.
Too much gaming may seem relatively harmless compared with the dangers of a drug overdose, but Bakker says video game addiction can ruin lives. Children who play four to five hours per day have no time for socializing, doing homework, or playing sports, he says. "That takes away from normal social development. You can get a 21-year-old with the emotional intelligence of a 12-year-old. He's never learned to play a sport."
love too argue shit someone never said
No one said that these disorders were exclusive to XI but that it was a pitfall and MMOs exacerbated mental health issues and also created numerous new people with issues.
sounds like you don’t like ffxi because you were bad at it
FFXI is a bad game because I'm a fucking dolt is a pretty valid opinion to have.
