    xi taught me that some people are actually 'stupid' and that blew my mind. I thought stupidity was laziness for the most part, but no, some people are just actually dumb.

    Started with UO and MUDs back in the day. Played several MMOs before FFXI and a few after. FFXI ruined MMOs for me. Every MMO I played after just felt... weaksauce. FFXI was what I got to tide me over until WOW and I tried really hard to enjoy WOW.

    I also enjoyed the social aspect of FFXI. Helping friends or noobs while waiting for pop windows, I'd help people get merits on my bard, just because.
