Whoa full stop. There are plenty of super yummy drinks that aren't fruity and gay from a bartender and probably not as expensive. You ever have a nice good quality wine that's been fortified with brandy? Shit tastes week as fuck but yummy and next thing you know you wondering wtf happened. Also Kerrygold Irish liquor is great. Also this outdoorish beer garden where all the food trucks stop by around here does some yummy local ciders by the pitcher for cheap. etc

Bell peppers are one of the saddest foods I have ever encountered. You are eating the la croix of peppers, it's no different than if you dropped any legitimate pepper in a pot of water and came back weeks later to enjoy the absolute dissolution of flavor.

Sangria is pretty great but super easy to make yourself guys. I was making batches all the time back when it was warming. Now with the weather cold it's been all about the mulled wines. On that note Costco started selling vanilla beans for like 5 for $15.
