    But yes the boardwalk is awful and full of terrible people. It's also exceptionally sticky everywhere at all times.

    Fun story. When I lived in Europe I used to go to Italy all the time and speak Spanish but with a cliche' Italian accent. It worked with them mostly just assuming I was from some remote village north in the alps.

    Friend of mine said the same thing. Went to Italy and spoke Spanish which had enough commonality that they were able to understand each other.
