I think you misread or I wasn't clear enough. I said very tall Qbs (like 6'6-7") have been largely unsuccessful lately. I just read an article about it somewhere.

I'd certainly take a tall one over a short one lol. I was trying to mention the height because someone brought it up, but it was minor in my argument against taking Murray #1 overall.

Yeah there have been a few ringer articles about it, mostly bashing Elway because he keeps attaining tall, shitty QBs

there's 3 short starting qbs in the league atm. russ, brees, and baker. not exactly a damning argument

This is the point I was trying to make previously - I think this is largely a factor of shorter QBs being moved off of the position because of old fashioned thinking as opposed to being short being completely damning to your ability to play the position

Height helps sure but I think a more representative league would have say, 10 of the top 32 QBs in the league in the "shorter" (~6') range

Well I travel for work. So kinda counts I guess?

Haven't actually traveled out of the country for pure leisure for over a decade (not counting day trips to Canada or Mexico), but my time in the Coast Guard has taken me to a lot of different countries.

Lol @ pretending kneeling didn't hurt the league and even more lol @ Titans attendance records. Our attendance isn't remotely close to what it was in the 99-2005 years. Every game in the stadium has technically "sold out", but comparing actual show-up attendance is night and day. And the attendance record was set in 2018 by a Kenney Chessney concert lmao. If any article even pretends to suggest otherwise, it is taking into account only the short time period that Nissan has held the naming rights of the venue.

This doesn't even include our best attendance years, from 99-2005. The waiting list, for PSLs, in those years were 10,000+ people long. You can get one for the last 5 years in about 30 minutes.

I know it sucks when math and graphs prove people wrong, but give it up. Titan's lack of attendance is the most talked about Titan's topic on local sports radio, outside of Mariota's contract. You're a fool, full of shit, and lying.

So it is clear to everyone that isn't Melena: there are a multitude of reasons for our lack of attendance, with the biggest being that we have sucked ass for most of the last decade. I am not, and never have, suggested that kneeling was the biggest attendance problem for the Titans. I do know MANY direct friends and their family who got rid of their PSLs entirely, 100%, because of it though. Welcome to the South and reality.

Nevermind the concussion lawsuits, the fact your team was and has been mediocre garbage for several years, which always brings a decrease in attendance for any team, and that live attendance and ratings for all sports is down across the board, but it's those pesky protesters.
