Pittsburgh extended Mike Tomlin by a year
only a year? shit that's disrespectful for a dude of his resume lol
Tomlin:
Regular season: 125–66–1 (.654)
Postseason: 8–7 (.533)
2 Super Bowls
Lewis:
Regular season: 131–122–3 (.518)
Postseason: 0–7 (.000)
That's rough man, dude has never had a losing season ever.
I'd swap out Garrett for Tomlin in a second.
I think several ex-Steelers have spoken strongly against him; some were anonymous and others just outright like James Harrison. He lost the locker room on multiple occasions, Ben's fault or not in some cases. They had arguably the best RB in the league leave the team. They had the best WR in the league leave the team. Terry Bradshaw hates the dude for some reason.
Tomlin also inherited a HOF QB and is still with him. It doesn't seem like they have much confidence in him, life after Ben, thus the 1 year extension to keep their options open.
Imagine if Cowher didn't retire and was still running the team. Would he have had more success with that kind of talent on the team? No doubt about it. No team in the league has squandered more talent in the last 5 (7?) years than the Steelers.
All of that being said, he would get a fat ass payday in free agency.
can i get a counteropinion from someone who doesn’t hate black people

i was gonna do it if you didn't so that makes it ok
