Yeah, the team the Utah Jazz were playing against.

If he had typed Nugger or Nigget I'd of probably been like "Fat finger", because I've definitely typed Nugger a few times. but yah... this ones a stretch, and if he had typed Nugger or Nigget, at least on my Iphone, it auto-corrects to Nugget. If even doing the "Glide to type" closest I got was Niger, the country. Still, In the spirit of fairness with it being a remote possibility even if extremely unlikely, i'd honestly give him a one-time benefit of the doubt if this is just some wildly out of character thing and nothing else in his history would paint him as a bad man.
(Side note, as I was typing this, that final Nugget I typed as nugger and had to re-do it. I mean, irony)
It was sent from an iPhone and those automatically are set to automatically correct words when you hit space. Twitter has a massive red line under it as well if you type it into the app. He uses the word often and forgot he was in public. There is no benefit of the doubt needed.
It's social media, there's a send button. No one has ever deserved benefit of the doubt for anything they post. Never have, never will.
Agree to disagree but I respect your confidence. Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet and all that.
Edit: if you correctly spell the N-word on Iphone, it does not auto-correct it to anything. I've attempted to type it several times upper and lower case on my phone and if i spell it right it keeps the word when I hit space. So again, he'd of have to have typed the full correctly spelled N-word for it to be posted as he did. Take that information however you want.
Yep. On android you have to click a check mark to confirm that is indeed what you wanted to type...unless you've done that previously and it saves it, in which case it may auto-correct something else to it. That means that you absolutely used it intentionally at least once.
Mostly debunked, can't do that on an iPhone unless you manually install the Google keyboard and default it then change the explicit settings. Can't imagine some boomer dude is going to know how to do all that. And the tweet was sent from an iPhone.
Tried several times to type it in Android and got:
Nuggets
Noggers
Nighters
Niger
Bigger
But not once did it automatically type that or auto correct and when I did type it out it actually suggested saving it as though it wasn't part of the dictionary (as it does with most bad words).

Is he getting the benefit of the doubt too Karbuncle?
Sure dude, maybe the man is talking Richmond, the Tobacco Capital of the world and just got back from an extended visit to France?

short saga, netflix finally apologized for... the artwork? lol

My understanding is that the movie is a social commentary piece about the sexualization of young girls, but Netflix just managed to completely fuck up the advertising for release outside of France by you know... sexualizing young girls.
I had to laugh how he stopped to call a home run in the middle of his “apology”

while that may well have been the purpose of the movie... maaan idk if this is the way to address this subject:
sounds gross and particularly with the way netflix advertised the movie, just whyWe then move to outrageous musical montages involving close-up crotch shots of pouting pre-teens. Doucoure seems to want to provoke censure, but fails precisely because she’s trying so hard.
Okay, much appreciated. Yah it sounds like all that aside its just an extremely creepy movie... perhaps "too real."
Yea, i heard the same thing, but after seeing the promo and just the photo they used for the movie... i don't even want to click on it.
