We owe the feds but it was expected so no sticker shock. Child tax credit helped but 10k salt cap really hurts for recouping losses via state refund.

~$800 fed refund. FLMA dinged me with a fair amount of untaxed income so it could have been a $1.6kish refund.

idk what to do this year, but I got married to moi german wife on dec 21 so I didnt really see a reason to change my withholding last year

Tax people might charge the same as turbotax for a simple refund if you have all the paperwork available
Shouldn't be more than $80-100

My refund dropped. I assume this means I was getting more back from my paycheck but I never noticed it.
