But yeah pretty clear from launch that they weren't committed to this. At least people who bought direct are getting their dough back, feel bad for the rest. At least some of y'all got a free controller and Chromecast out of it? Lol

I'm surprised that was a press release and not a personal letter to Demo, the only person on Earth who owns a Stadia.

It worked a treat for me while traveling. Also stadia trials of Osiris was more chill and less sweaty than PC trials. It's going to get great use out of me next week as I'll be in York all week. I'm going to miss it, and my only alternative now is streaming off my connection at home. Xcloud and Nvidia's options unfortunately had higher latency than stadia. Hope they catch up some day.

Now I'm not saying anyone should take advantage of the multi billion dollar corporation's failures, but they haven't removed the chromecast hardware bundles from the Google store yet...

I expected them to give out shit like steam keys for people's purchases. In retrospect, a full refund is better since not everyone has a gaming PC.
