Yeah I've never been a huge fan of over-muscled body definition, and I think our modern standards for how the ideal man and woman look mean that women reach that of "over-muscled" faster than men.

For example, I've been offput by how large Chun-Li's legs are in modern depictions. I get why they would look that way and understand that, yeah, they are definitely going to be a lot stronger like that. But aesthetically to me it's jarring.
