This is basically how I feel. Give the right to vote back to non-violent offenders after they’ve done their time. You’re not going to find too many people after that fighting on behalf of rapists and murderers.

whilst incarcerated could go either way on. don't think there's any great loss taking away a political liberty whilst taking away most other individual liberties but our prison population should prolly literally be reduced by 50%+. good million+ people locked up right now that shouldn't be, which seems the far more exigent concern.
