It does though? Maybe restate your premise for me because my impression had been that you believed Chicago's strict gun control laws failing were completley the result of the laws themselves and no external factors, such as the ease of obtaining a firearm outside the city.

Also lol at trying to brush through the facts on the topic and ignoring that the politifact article you're leaning on calls it a "half-truth" based entirely upon choosing to interpret data a certain way regarding a statement that was never clarified.
