FFXIV is a joke, but at least ffxi required you to be aware of what people in your party/alliance are doing and how their jobs worked. FFXIV on the other hand gives me no reason in the slightest to even acknowledge the people im with and only to hit a repeat 1>2>3 with slight variation and zombie like nonfocus.

Rathian was not a fairy immigrant, him and the others like leechyxx and analise w/e were from fatally's previous server i believe and either came to sylph to bot kings as a small man ls thinking sylph was dead, or came with that one arab nasa ls that crashed and burned within a month. Regardless they were absorbed because they had shiny relics, got on vent, botted, and had no life. Also they were all fairly competent which i guess was a bonus.

Competent was a stretch. I recall pretty much hating healing anyone besides Haha, Vestal, or Lomega.

The rate of bad tanks was almost as high as bad healers because of all the extremely mediocre people because that pick it up for a "useful" job just to get into a shell.

I also remember Cream always bitching about how bad the healing was when the fucker would run in full Zerk Hasso and expect massive heals to keep him up but would inevitably get smashed. Then Wite was always like "I'm letting you die until you learn your lesson or until you level a support."

But we both know we had a lot of filler members to maintain functionality 24/7 but our core members were fucking fantastic. Pisaro/Rushie were just there to be adorable mascots, id sooner tank as blm/nin than rely on either of them at 4am when we got no one else.
