It never ceased to amaze me at how i'd see people on xi daily over the course of 7 years or so and they could never even learn how to gear; I could never understand if some people are truly beyond saving or if they cared so little about improving.

That's what boggles me about shitty Relic holders. Like I expect the scrub in Sun Rings who can't get into a shell because we are gear elitists to be bad; if you don't put effort into gearing, you certainly aren't going to put effort into using gear right.

But how do you have the patience for getting a Relic but still be lazy to the point of incompetence in terms of learning how to use it. Even without an Aegis or Ochain, I could tank fine because if you know how to juggle shadows the block rate was extraneous. It was really just a 5% of the time thing when shadows get wiped during both cooldowns.

I can't comment on anyone from fairy other than TDG as none of ur other endgame people did anything except when i saw zealot camping behemoth one day. I felt I had over prepared and researched fairy endgame in preparation for our server merger.

I was actually going to mention thixx bein a filthy italian and bring up a very beautiful wipe by him and his legion of benchwarming plds because he had to afk to go eat pasta. All the other members I dealt with from tdg were NA for the most part.

speaking as a rdm, the only difference between wearing all hq/+1 items and being naked was 200 mp and enfeebles being 0.00001% more effective.
only exceptions were the relic hat and dalmatica 'cause refresh items were broken

Running a public Dynamis LS with Grunion that consistently cleared zones with randoms was probably my greatest achievement. I suppose only leveling THF and SMN to 75 led me to get good at herding cats.
