Probably not your ideal storefront but I think the PC versions (standard/ultimate/etc) are still half off on the Ubisoft store for their anniversary

It was on sale pretty much everywhere Black Friday

New DLC scope and size is very surprising and ambitious. I enjoyed Valhalla but not sure I’d want to go back for another 35 hours unless they made some big changes.

I assume you meant on PC, but noticed it's half off again on xbox's countdown sale for any fellow console plebs (imagine a similar deal is/will be on PSN sometime soon as well)

Didn’t know where else to put this but basically some guy going for his doctoral degree in game design interviewed three of the leads for the original Assassin’s Creed game for part of his dissertation, and they basically confirmed the original plan was for AC1 and AC2 pretty much went as planned but AC3 was supposed to be a completely modern day setting with Desmond as the player character having gained skills from Altair and Ezio in the animus. AC3 was supposed to end with Desmond stopping Abstergo but the solar flare event still happened killing all life on earth, Desmond and Lucy were supposed to escape on a space ship that Abstergo had made and they would go off to a new planet to become “Adam & Eve”…basically when Ubisoft saw the potential for AC to become an annual franchise they shifted plans immediately. This explains why Brotherhood in many ways feels like an expansion pack to AC2 and AC3 ended up taking a couple extra years to pump out.

Complete Edition is 65% off on PSN right now. *Everything* Valhalla for $48.99

Yes I know that not $20 but this is probably the lowest price you will see for a complete edition unless you want to wait another two years or so
