BL2 or pre-sequel after BL1?

So, like many of us, I'm replaying the Borderlands series in prep for BL3. This time however I am having my bro play with me (He's never done the before). We're about half way through the DLC on BL1 so it got me thinking which game I should introduce him to next. Plot wise, pre sequel is up but I played BL2 then pre sequel obviously because of release order. So.. opinions away!

I'd say 2. TPS actually starts and is told through a "Flashback", so chronologically finishing BL2 first makes most sense... plus you can truly appreciate Handsome Jacks performance in TPS when you get to it.

I really enjoyed 1!

I tried TPS and I really disliked it. Like, it just wasn't fun. Tell me I'm an idiot and I should give it another try.

i also liked 1, but 2 was better. i wanted to like TPS but just couldnt get into it

Also really recommend Tales From The Borderlands from Telltale Games (RIP) after you finish both. It's more of a very long interactive movie but it's incredible.
