I wont be picking this up for a little while still and have been avoiding much of what I can about the game, but man, on Youtube I saw PlagueOfGripes is doing a playthrough and I've never been so tempted.

A tiny investment into faith so you can use some of the simple self buffs is super worth it. 12 faith and 10 arcane gets you access to a few of the elemental resistances (magic resist being a key one) and also access to Bloodflame blade to help you give every weapon bleed damage. Though I'm pretty sure I saw you using the pizza cutter and I don't think that one is buffable

i think bloody slash is better in like every conceivable way aside from the small HP loss. charge frames looked almost identical to me. that said, i like unsheath too.

The damage in bloody is great, and looks cool as hell to boot lol, but I do like having the choice between a vertical or horizontal slash with unsheath. Bloody slash feels more like a combo ender to me

Some of the godslayer incantations are great too. Blackflame blade scales really well later into the game since it deals percent based damage and can be weaved into attack combos.

I honestly think you're meant to do Radahn later, but if you're following Ranni's quest line, it comes at the same time or really, before Atlus. I am curious if you didn't go to Ranni, how and when Radahn is introduced. (Ofnir's dialogue notwithstanding)

This is the first game that I'm gonna have full map completion just because of the quests/NPCs being really interesting to me. Seluvis has my favorite VA for any character in a really long time. It just fits.

People saying Margit is a bitch aren't lying. Can't really tell if I need better gear/stats or if I have to git gud enough to be able to solo the last 25% with expert dodges/parries after my helper and jellyfish are gone. Just having heater shield and a straight sword+3 doesn't feel like enough.

20-30 is the sweetspot for him depending on how gud, there is a LOT of shit to do in that region if you've been bashing your head for a while

It also helped a lot to ride ahead and around and collect a bunch of golden seeds and sacred tears for additional healing. Also the physick potion helped too. Between the npc summon, bell summons, and heals he wasn't too bad at all. I did him in my teens.

The road makes a giant horseshoe bend that ends in a canyon/valley. Go south thru the canyon from there and you'll hit the Weeping Peninsula I think it's called. You can do all of west and east limgrove + weeping Peninsula comfortably before you go back to wreck Margit

pretty sure there’s two tears to upgrade your flask on southern peninsula too, also a mine with +2 stones to upgrade your weapon more

Finally got 60 int for comet azure. This spell is nuts with the infinite FP flask.

I have 5 swigs of my flask but haven't found any of the items to make it stronger. Maybe I'll just explore east more.

All the flask upgrade items i've found have been in various churches. Once you find what one looks like the others aren't so hard to spot in the distance. You should be able to get a few pretty easily form the start.

I ran Stormveil with Tymon but haven't really done too many areas where you can have summons yet. Been out in the open world too much

Ended up doing Godrick on my own though because he had too much HP with multiple players lol

Just got down there, starting to check stuff out
