You don't have to use it
is there some way to cheese it as melee without the spear? waiting for his head seems like it would take an eternity
I just spammed the shit out of Hoarfrost stomp until he eventually died.
How do you get 2?
Whaaa? I didn't know you could do that. Will it no longer work since I already killed the guy who drops it?
Does the other person lose the Reduvia entirely?
Aw damn
I’m sure it’s not too hard to find someone who doesn’t give a shit about the dagger.
Considering you only get like... 8 each of the highest level upgrade items per playthrough there's plenty of gear you can just not bother with.
The only things you wouldn't want to give up are the legendary weapons, since you need all of them in your inventory/chest at the same time for the achievement
Speaking of max level upgrades, if you upgrade a Keen weapon to +25 it's stats actually go down.
Afaik it's only the Keen affinity that is broken like this, but just fyi for those doing DEX builds (that said I think the special weapons are better anyways once you get to endgame equipment levels, Hand of Malenia or Bloodhound's Fang probably being the best DEX weapons)
i am enjoying my bloodhound fang +10 quite a bit
Just imagine how fun 2 of them would be.
I'm gonna need help with radahn...lol

Spoiler: show
Gelmir’s Hero Grave is perhaps the most dreadfully punishing dungeon I’ve encountered so far.
Trial and Error structure, amount of backtracking, lava pits, fights in narrow places where you swing to the wall and stagger yourself, drop down/jump puzzles that involve you to challenge the game mechanics…
Whoever desgined this area must’ve had a bad day.
Edit after partially beating it: Rewards were good though.
i enjoyed that dungeon because finally beating it was very satisfying
also rolling around in lava is fun
Just beat it fully as well, decent rewards I guess. I’ve had more sense of frustration than satisfaction.
The problem with the grave is that it tries to be a Tomb Raider game without the supporting game mechanics. For example, you can ride the chariot to the boss but even if the tip of your sword touches the “airspace” above its wheels you instantly die.
