Some guy on reddit did some digging into the games files/some memory edits and found that while the ending of some sidequests are still present, there's no way to actually get to that point because From never finished the content.

Nepheli, Kenneth, Gostoc, Alexander, and Diallos all have incomplete quests with no way to complete them. Still some rewards to be gained from working your way thru their quests (notably Diallos for his gear and armor and Alexander and Nepheli for talismans), but eventually the quests just stop with no way to finish them.

i thought alexander was done, his questline sure seems finished when i was done based on what happens

nepheli definitely just ends with nothing going on

You get a key item at the current end of Alexander's quest line that you can't do anything with. There's a use for it in the games files but that part of the quest chain apparently doesn't exist anymore.

Nepheli is definitely just... idk. Her shit just stops at a certain point and she just starts ignoring everything else going on in roundtable.

maybe that key item is supposed to finally let you into that coliseum behind the huge jar. wasted so many trips to that place to see if i did something that unlocked it besides the invasion fights in front of the jar

If you do 3 fights in a row you get the highest level equip load talisman, think that's all it's for

There's a bunch of coliseums with doors you can't open like that scattered around the world.

Dataminers have went through them, and they look like the PVP arenas of previous games. Probably cut-content or DLC.

Just ran into a weird glitch where the game wasn’t recognizing the fact I had a stonesword key in my inventory. Had to restart the whole thing to trigger the command prompt.

Ran into a graphics glitch where the game disappeared my torso.

Only glitch i had was a giant dragon completely disappeared while i was running around/away from it. The dragon that shoots red lightning.

If it's the same one I'm thinking of, he actually flies away.

yeah there’s two dragons i know of that peaced out during the fight including that one, you can find them both again later

if you feel like looking, that particular dragon didn’t go very far
