So expansion sounds a hell of a lot more than DLC. It’s this normal for soulsborne games?

The lands between the lands between
aye, DS1, Bloodborne, and DS3 post-release business was more reminiscent of traditional vidya expansions than dime-size DLC. they added like 8-10 hours to 40-50 hour games, rocking many of the best and most difficult bosses.
given Elden Ring is From's biggest game and the development cycle is gonna be 1-2 years expect it'll be an absolute unit of a DLC
If it takes place postgame I wonder if it'll account for every ending or if they'll force a canonical one
Elden Ring players have died 9,000,000,000+ times. Official stat. from Namco Bandai.
Limgrave Tree Sentinel my man
ya i got about half of those Malenia deaths
I think I killed her on my 4th attempt or something like that
It’s fun how useful rock sling + meteor staff is for the entirety of the game. Especially with the off hand glitch.
someone on Reddit did the math and said 10 people die to malenia every second since the game has been released (averaged out)
also the tree sentinel attempts have to be skewed by people accidentally triggering the fight and running away
Gotta remember too most people will just roll up to try tree sentinel without having leveled up yet or in possession of a flask of wondrous physick, and many are stubborn and will repeatedly try it before moving on or quitting.
Imagine buying a game and immediately quitting because you ran into a field boss and kept getting stomped by it.
Also, I never beat the first bloodborne boss.
it didn't occur to him that it was optional lmao
