restart steam to get day 1 patch, then restart again if it isn't unpacking ( should start after 2nd restart ).

Restarting steam didn't work for me but restarting my PC worked. But maybe that just counted as the second restart idk lol

I wanna dive head first into this but I just can’t get over the bits I’ve seen of it just being another Slash > Slash > Dodge > Wait for Stamina, soulsborne game. I fucking hate that clunky ass battle system.

But all my buddies are getting it and I guess I have to too.

I am somewhat inexperienced in Souls series.

First monster and I am down after 2 hits lol. My desperate struggle was able to take about 5% off monsters health.

Its very much DS4. Combat is a tiiiiiny bit improved overall, mounted combat/travel, crafting etc. It's very fun, and I don't really play souls games.

Personal gripe, this game is making my GTX 1060 scream. Fucking cryptominers hogging all the gpus; i need an upgrade.

I have a 3070 and I'm lagging on "High" settings. Think the game just isn't really optimized yet or something. Neither my GPU nor CPU were running hot either.

Only played for 10mins after making my character for like an hour, but so far seems alot more user friendly than DS2/DS3.

Wanna play more but need to sleep.... :/

Reviewers did say the PC version wasn't running very well sadly.
I decided to order the PS5 version even before hearing that though, although initial tests suggest the best experience is running PS4 version on 5 heh. Anyway, probably won't launch it until I'm done with Horizon, which will probably mean sometime later next week

Always a no brainer to get Soulsborne on Playstation unless you literally can't. Best experience by far.
