Well, I started at 64 on the Character banner and won my 50/50 at 76, so I figured since I kept my Archon streak alive I may as well chase the weapon. From 0 it took me about 100 wishes, got a Thundering Pulse first at around 60 and then the lamp at 100ish.

Dropped me from ~47k primos down to 22k, but I've got time to resupply for Dehya and Alhaitham. It was pretty okay luck overall I think. Worse luck on the weapon banner than I have had recently but I was overdue to get a bit fucked there, and both banner weapons in 100 wishes is still not horrible.

She does look fun though. Her C1 is tempting but I just want those other two characters more right now.

Lost first 50/50 to Tighnari C1 - that's ok because I like using him, although I was thinking he might be replaced by Nahida in my team, now I'm wondering if I should use them together, but then I would need to build a new artifact set for one of them
After getting her I chased her C1 and lost again to Jean C2

Got a consolation prize from the standard banner though as monthly wishes gave me a Primordial Jade Winged Spear.

Took about 130 wishes, but I got the following:

Sacrificial Fragments (R3)
Lions Roar x2 (R2 2nd weapon)
Flute (R3 2nd weapon)

A bunch of Bennets I already had and only 1 Noel, so getting all of that for 130 is pretty good considering Diluc C2 is pretty baller, and fucking C5 Gorou, so only one more of him for busted C6. Nahida is already at 27.5K blooms before Q and Niloue EM buffs:

Noelle was in almost every 10 pull I did going for Nahida as well.

Ended up getting Nahida and her weapon. Both at 70 since I had to leave for work, I'll get her to 90 in the morning and fix her artifacts. I plan to keep going on the weapon banner since I want Yoimiya's bow, but I used up everything saved so far. After that, I'll go back to saving until Dehya releases (unless something else comes up before then).

Is it even possible to beat it without a Dendro character in your party? My first attempt didn't have one and I kept trying but it seemed futile so I warped out and changed teams. I figured it would be harder, but not impossible.

As far as I can tell it does require at minimum one Dendro character to activate those crystals at the end.

I think I've also changed my mind on Nahida's C1. C2 is the real prize and C1 is just on the way to it, but I'm definitely not going that far at this point.

Also, the cube has at least two hidden achievements: One for burning the bouncing ball and one for activating all three crystals, at the end, with electro. The last is really tight to do but I was able to do it with Fiscle, shooting two and using skill on the last one I stood by.

afaik yep, that is impossible

overall she's cracked. she could be the same character with her damage reduce by like... 75%, and she'd still be amazing for the dendro application and EM support. the damage is just the archon icing on top. her C0 R1 damage tends to hover around 50~60k per tri-karma activation which is just... o.O

First tried the abyss this go around and didn't have to repeat any stages. Kind of depressing, since I usually have to repeat 1 or 2 stages with my team that has real investment >.>

My Nilou and Nahida are definitely trash for artifacts. Was prefarming artifacts for both of them for about a week and used ~15 fragile resins today, but only got 2 EM pieces (both sands), and both had the same exact stats of HP/DEF/HP%, >.> Nilou has like lv12 arts since the subs got scuffed and going to wait for better ones instead of wasting fodder.

We've definitely hit the era of animation powercreep.

I'm glad character movement is the real powercreep of the game, but it makes it hard to resist. I was planning on skipping Wanderer, but seeing his vertical movement is going to make that hard. I'll liekly end up caving, so hopefully 3.4 (Alhaitham and Yaoyao) leaves me alone so I can save for Dehya.

Congrats! With the Dendro reactions being so powerful, I wonder if they'll nerf them at some point or if we're going to end up with enemies having more HP/resistance.

My current Nahida build. I was trying to build her as an on-field character based on recommendations I saw, but I don't feel too happy with it so I'm likely going to change the circlet to EM. I need to kill more Triangles to get her weapon to 90, but that's only ~24 more EM. Going full EM and not worrying much about Crit should make it easy to reach 1k EM.

I took a video of Nahida's C2 in action to time the Primo Geovishap fight and thought I might as well upload it. She's not very well built yet but that doesn't matter re: enabling Hyperbloom

With regards to the Abyss, keep in mind the current Abyssal Moon buff is extremely favourable to Bloom reactions, so it's really amplifying teams that use Nilou.

Abyss favors current banner pulls, but if we're being honest, bloom is just busted with Nilou and Nahida at C0. As good as my other teams are, Nilou into Nahida just claps any normal group of enemies; the team is even curbstomping Peak of Vindanyr, where only Nahida can really do damage.

If it can get wet, it will get wrecked.

Finally got around to doing the current event. I think this is my favorite event yet, it feels like a mini party game. No stress, just fun.
