For the completionists unaware, there are 2 new Liyue commissions. Unseen Razor and I think one of the storytelling ones. I finished the Unseen Razor one today. Once I get the storytelling one done I can go back to Monstadt and hope to finish the Godwin and Snezneya ones.

I ended up pulling Itto. I was going to hold out, but then I did the event and had fun playing him, so I caved. Think my last 3 5*s have all been at 75+ pity. I did get C5 Gorou with these last few pulls though.

Now to stay away from the banners until Dehya.

If it makes you feel better I just ended up pulling Scara (on purpose, he's grown on me). Here's to wasting our pities and still getting Dehya! And who knows, maybe her weapon will be awful anyway.

I'm actually glad I pulled Scara. I find his gameplay pretty fun.

I've done his trial thing like 10 times trying to decide if I liked him, and I think I've settled on, not really. The floating thing is neat but he reminded me a bit of Xiao who I did build but rarely use, in the sense that he's very one-dimensional and his three hit attack string while his E is active feels a bit boring to me.

I also still need to spend a lot of time farming Gilded Dreams pieces so I just don't have the desire to detour and farm his own set for him right now. Maybe I'll get him on a rerun. Or maybe he'll be the new Yoimiya and continuously get run right before a character I really want.

That's fair. Like you, I built a Xiao that doesn't get enough use. Though I do like Xiao when I do use him.

I think where I've landed on Wanderer is that he's a very person-to-person character. He's a mid-tier hypercarry, so from a pure meta standpoint he's not important. But he's good enough, just not overpowered, and more importantly he is the absolute best character on the overworld rn. Like I don't even know how they are going to powercreep his travel abilities, he blows every other overworld character out of the water. Chaining him and Yelan means I don't even bother using stamina lol.

So yeah I get not grabbing him, totally fair. I'm glad I got him, but I would not at all push him on anyone else unless they were sure they wanted him too.

My preferred mode of travel is actually just Mona with the Lost Prayer and Anemo resonance. Yelan's nice but mine is still C0 so only one charge which means I can't just alternate between her and Sayu. But Mona/Ayaka dash plus the movement speed from Lost Prayers and the movement speed from Anemo resonance gets you moving pretty quick.

I know I'm lazy, but where are you guys traveling to where you need teams for it? The only "movement" team I have is just Ningguang in my mining team.

I find a combination of Venti and Xiao pretty useful for reduced climbing + gliding Stamina. Was noticeable for me in Sumeru when I was just unlocking waypoints or gathering mats.

Yeah I just have an "exploration" team for running around farming materials. Especially for places like the desert where there's a lot of ground to cover and not a lot of waypoints. I just use Kazuha/Mona/Ayato/Sayu most of the time.

^ this. I have Scara (formerly Kazuha) and Yelan for movement, Nahida for grabbing items, and then the fourth slot varies but is often someone like Tighnari or Qiqi who can highlight materials on the map.

I feel like the "highlights region-specific materials" passives doom every character to be skipped by me. I've dodged Klee, Yoimiya, and Tighnari. Which is a shame because those passives are handy lol.

When I'm chest hunting or what not, I'll use Yelan, Sayu, Jean, and Yae with Lost Prayer. Barely any running needed with Yelan and Sayu, but when I do, Yae with Lost Prayer comes out.
