I made the mistake of looking at some recent Alhaitham leaks, and man have they kinda massacred his multipliers across the board with the most recent update. I'm gonna get him regardless because he's just too cool, but I really hope they either roll some of those changes back partially, or he was way more broken than people first thought and Mihoyo is just trying to bring him in line.

People are saying it's the biggest beta nerf in history and I think they're right. I'm glad I was skipping him for Dehya anyway

Raiden/Ayato with Sayu, Rosaria, and Sara. Pretty decent banner for me, as none of those 4* are C6, and I don't have Ayato or C2 Raiden, though neither are pointedly necessary for any of my teams. 2 Constellations away from C6 Sara if I ever wanted to use her though.

Weapon banner tempting me. I want the spear for the Raiden I'm going to get, and I don't really have a good sword for Ayaka. But at the same time, I want to wait for Ayaka rerun for her weapon. >.>

If you need a sword I'd highly recommend waiting, as Ayato's is almost useless for everyone else (unlike Mistsplitter which is good for basically any sword character that does elemental damage). Engulfing Lightning is obviously good, but The Catch is totally serviceable as a stand-in.

I've missed a couple events over the last few months so it may have just slipped by me, but I just saw Enviosity using some kind of fish bow on his Faruzan and I have no idea what it is or where it comes from. Anyone know?

Edit: Looks like you get it from the Sumeru fishing association, haha.

Someone please stop me from rolling for Faruzan C6. I got to C3 from grabbing Scara and she's perfectly fine as-is, has her burst up 100% with a bit of ER and a couple Favonius weapons on the team. but...

Save any basic banner wishes since she'll be added with the next update. That and Dehya are the main thing holding me back from going for C6. I also don't want Wanderer or Itto cons. lol

You could also spend $200 and not get a single Faruzan. When I went for C2 Raiden I only had C1 Sera by the time I got Raiden to C1. That was like 170 combined wishes. I did get her to C6 over the next 170 (lost pity) so it averaged out (...kinda), but you can easily get nothing but Yanfei and Gorou for your next two full pities.

yeahhh you guys are right. and I really don't care for Itto (Ningguang main for life) or any Wanderer cons. I just did a Christmas 10 pull and got Faruzan C4, I'll stick with that and get the last two on a future banner. hope you are all doing well and any holiday pulls (on this or any other game) go well for you!

Ha ha.. I'm hoarding for now.

I know someone who went all in on Wanderer, and the dude ends up pretty busted in later cons, though that could be said of a lot of 5-stars. He is fun to play.

So far I've been happy with most of the 5 stars I have, though I'd say Raiden's probably my biggest disappointment -- that might change if I optimize her more.

Raiden was really one of the first characters where the answer to her best build wasn't just "ATK% timepiece, elemental goblet, crit circlet". She really wants a lot of ER for both her own benefit and the rest of her team's, which can put you in funny spots like using an ER timepiece and potentially an ATK% goblet instead of an elemental one. At C0 her damage probably won't blow you away but she's still a fantastic team battery, but at C2/3 she's one of the best hyper carries in the game, in addition to being the best battery in the game by a mile.

I actually have her at C2 and decent enough ER.

She's just kinda eh for me? When I say 'disappointment' it's not that I'd return the pull if I could. Was just expecting more.

I just wish her burst lasted longer.

Lost 50/50 at 79/90 to Tighnari. Not upset at that one, since his sumeru passive is nice. Got Raiden after at 27/90. Gave Raiden the Catch, and built up a Deathmatch/Dragon Bane replacement for Xiangling.

Also dumped another 10 fragile resin into farming EoSF. Kinda got shit on, as usual >.> Best I was able to come up with was:



CR lacking a lot. I could get her a really good set, but I'd have to steal quite a few of Xiangling's arts, which I don't really want to do as I use her a lot in a few different teams. One day I'll get a decent CD or CR circlet, but after a year of playing, I'm not too hopeful on it lol

I'm still currently farming the Emblem domain for better pieces for Raiden (and by proxy Yelan and several others who will get Raiden hand-me-downs) but realistically she's already more than strong enough to nuke everything in the Abyss. I'm gonna have to convert to the Dendro domain for Alhaitham soon, and currently strongboxing Thundering Fury pieces, although I do still want Crimson Witch upgrades for Diluc.
