Finally hit my 5* on the Standard banner. Jade Spear #3 at 79 wishes. I'll probably end up using it as a refinement since I barely use the 2 I already have.

This will also probably be the first time I don't buy all the discounted wishes in the shop for the month. I was able to buy 2, but I have no real plan to pull for anyone until Focalors (rumoured 4.2). Currently have 183 wishes saved at 38 pity (50/50).

How's everyone else doing with wishes/saving?

I managed to pull a Freminet in ~15 wishes and he seems like a lot of fun. his damage is not terrible and he can be the driver for a bunch of freeze/tazer/hyperbloom variants. nothing mindblowing but he's good for a 4* and fun to play

Got my next 5* from the Standard banner, at around 80 wishes. C2 Jean. I was hoping for C2 Diluc (or C2 Mona) but it was Qiqi and it wasn't another freaking PJWS so I suppose I can't complain. Time to make a Speedy Ayato team I guess.

grats on that, I think it's one of the more fun constellations in the game. ayato go zoom zoom!

I know the feeling haha, I've gotten 3 PJWS and 3 Amos bows from the standard banner. The spear my Xiao has is now R2 and my Ganyu's Amos bow is R2 as well. I like to keep a spare of every weapon just in case I get someone who can use them, but every other copy just goes into refinements now. The only reason I'm even sitting on a spare Amos bow is in case I ever get Tighnari from a lost 50/50.

I've got 46k in primos and ~100 Intertwined fates between Starglitter and battle pass/region tree fates, so I'm in pretty good position. Wriosthley is looking pretty fun so I might go for him + weapon next patch. It'll depend on Furina scheduling and how her kit and constellations end up looking.

Yeah it's a neat constellation even just for exploration, I need to get my Yun Jin some gear to go for a full Attack Speed team.

Good luck to anyone pulling for Geo Daddy, Childe, or Freminet! I'm not going anywhere near these banners because I'm already at over 65 pity haha.

I decided I wanted C1 Yelan but lost the 50/50 and got .... Dehya instead WHEN DID THEY ADD THAT TO THE POOL I DIDN'T KNOW but no prob. So that's my Dehya at C1. i never built her but now feel like i got a reason to, plus she just looks very pleasing, and I since C1 focuses on HP more it feels easier to build. I then pulled more to get my C1 Yelan as I don't want anyone from the Zhongli and Childe banner.

EDIT: Still refusing fontaine chars for now no matter how good they are lol. Wriothesley doesn't look like a magician at least so maybe, but less care due to it being a dude

Sometimes, the best looking characters end up the worst game-play wise. Grats on Dehya C1.

I have 36K crystals or so saves up and nothing to pull till Furina/Navia/Chlorinde, so plenty of time to save even more, though Wriothesley looks good too.

Kokimi has been a joy to play in the underwater parts; animations are really relaxing.

Kokimi can attack underwater you mean? I've not known for her to have a special underwater buff but given her lore/background/type it sort of makes sense.

grats on Dehya C1, makes her much more viable in a dual tank/dps hybrid HP build. honestly one of the best overworld characters imo. also Dehya is one of the best underwater characters too since she's one of the very few who has a passive healing skill in case you take any damage

No special buffs; just her swim animations, with her clothes and jellyfish theme, work well.

Not sure if everyone else already knows, but some characters are able to full breach when swimming to the surface. For example: Lynette can and I don't believe Raiden can. There are a couple spots where it's useful, but mostly it's just fun to do.

neat! I'll have to check who does and who doesn't. Freminet better have the animation, he's literally built for swimming lol

Just found out today that Lyney and Freminet have normal attack +3 on their 3rd constellation, and not skill or burst. AFAIK this is the first time Hoyoverse has done this - interesting change. It obviously works for both characters pretty well, and I could see this being a nice change for any normal attack-focused characters in the future.

It's the first time I can think of. Childe has that A2 passive that gives the party +1 Normal Attack level but that's the only other NA level boosting thing I can think of in the game.

I got a 17% Crit Rate substat on a Crimson Witch Crit Damage mask last night, as well as a 34% CV Pyro Goblet on set. The sad part? I can't use either of them on my Diluc because my Crimson pieces and current off-set goblet are better than any off-set non Goblet piece I can use. And his current Crit Rate mask has 82 EM and 20% Crit Damage. I have Beacon of the Reed Sea but he's stuck with WGS because if I use Beacon with that new mask he's at 111% crit rate, lol.

You can see my current Diluc setup here. Currently rank 14 on the WGS leaderboard. I might stop strongboxing Crimson Witch pieces and switch to Emblem for a while. Realistically there's very little room to improve my Diluc other than getting the same pieces I already have, with substats that aren't just Flat ATK/DEF/HP.

Fontaine characters and Water Traveler can breach; has to do with the Pneuma and Ousia characteristics they have.

Sumeru quests really punishing me for not having a bow user fully levelled, some of those quests require shooting targets and can't change characters in a dungeon.

Not sure if it's worth trying for the current banners or just wait. This is who I have now.

You could go for Zhongli, if you wanted. He's just the best safety blanket there's ever been. You could also wait though, the preview this weekend will give us an idea of what's coming and based on leaks, Neurvellete is looking really strong.

I'd probably start working on Yelan, looking at your roster. She's one of the best units in the game, you should have access to her Ascension boss materials now if you're in Sumeru, and you can just slap a Favonius Warbow on her to great effect.

Zhongli is never a bad idea. Elemental Defense shred, massive shield for your team, permanent buffs with Tenacity artifacts, and big dick Ultimate damage.

I just finished the Aranyaka quests tonight, and still have a lot of other world quests to work on (caught up on Archon quests though). Did some standard banner pulls and a 10 on the Zhongli banner. Picked up Zhongli, Sucrose, Yaoyao, and Sayu. Thankfully avoided my Dan Heng disaster (rip 50/50). lol
