Genshin Impact (PC/PS5/PS4/NSW/iOS) - Open-World Action RPG - 2020

I'm missing 13 characters; 12 5* and 1 4*. No interest in collecting all of them though, and at this point, there's so much cross-over with roles that a character really has to provide something new or look really fun to use. Design always helps.

I got so lucky tonight, lmao. Won both Wrio 50/50s in ~40 pulls (starting from about 60 pity), won the 75/25+50/50 on the weapon banner and got Cashflow in ~70 pulls. Still have 53k primos and ~280 wishes worth of starglitter.

I was honestly kinda hoping to lose one of those 50/50s for Diluc or Dehya cons, or get an Elegy of the End, but oh well.

gg! those are some good pulls. I got wrio in about 75 (for qiqi) + 50, so not great but it all evens out in the end. not going for weapon though

I was on the fence about going for C1 but getting the weapon relatively painlessly made it an easy decision to go for. I want Diluc C4 so bad though, just give it to me Mihoyo! I also still don't have Tighnari.

apparently wrio is "not good" or something? I think it's a hu tao situation where the C1 is just such a huge QoL upgrade that people confuse "C0" with "not good." then again I'm just using Shenhe + Kazuha so his numbers will be good for me regardless

People are saying he's "not good" because at C0 getting the full benefit out of his kit is fairly clunky. You need to hover between 50% and 60% HP to both get the boost from his E, and get the enhanced charged attacks from his A1 passive. At C0 his combos are HP negative, and the 5 second cooldown on his A1 means you end up in situations below 50% HP. The two ways around this are either A) running a healer that has a weak Heal-over-Time to help him straddle that HP window, or B) just spam his charge attack if you fall below 50% until you get back to full.

At C1 that all goes away because you just get a boosted charge attack every 5 normal attack hits so you no longer care about trying to stay between 50% and 60%, and you also don't even need to use a healer at that point because the cooldown is 2.5 seconds instead of 5. If it were up to me I would have dropped the "over 50% HP" requirement from his E, and I think everyone would have been fine because his C1 would be less Hu Tao-esque and more just "free extra damage and faster CAs".

IMO people are just trying to convince themselves he's not worth it because they either just wished for Neuvy or they want to wait for Furina (who will be amazing with Wrio anyway). He's certainly not a necessary character, but he's definitely good at what he's built to do (damage). His C1 is maybe one of the best C1s in the game, but he's completely usable at C0, particularly if you have Mika or Jean.

I hope there is a Xaio banner soon.
While farming the new domain for my Fishcl I keep getting the other set Marechaussee Hunter instead.
While reading KQM they suggest it's a good alternative set for Xaio. I already got Primordial Jade Winged-Spear from a random 5 star drop in standard banner, so if I can get this guy then it will be easy to bring up there.

This domain is unlucky for me as I keep getting Marechaussee Hunter MORE than the other set for Fishcl off field so I've been looking to put the set to some use haha

edit: I'm not finding Wrio as fun to play when trialing so I decided to skip

So I've found a pretty fun team to play, while getting friendship with Dehya and Kirara; add Kokomi and Zhongli, and you can burst off cool-down with Dehya at 270% ER and rotating skills. Pretty mediocre damage, but tis a lot of fun to punch things with reactions.

oh wow lol I just noticed the new bundle in the shop. 1280 crystals for 1000 primos + wings, namecard, furniture piece. if you take the primos into account that's just 280 for the goodies and the wings look great so I grabbed it

Back in my day I had to record the screen to VHS and then write it on a scrap of paper and hope that my mantra wasn't in the wrong because the 0's were O's and or the 1's were L's. Never again! Also, down to my last 2 hangout events until the update takes my freedom away again. I dunno, the alternate endings kinda take away my interest in them.

On one hand, the current Navia leaks sound interesting, and a Geo construct that isn't useless sounds pretty fun. On the other hand, there are some other characters I like the look of that should be coming (Chlorinde, Cloud Retainer) and I need to save wishes for the assumed Shenhe rerun some time around the Latern Rite patch this winter.

I'm really on the fence over whether to go for Furina's weapon. On one hand, I'm gonna get it eventually one way or the other. On the other hand, I'm gonna be so annoyed if I get one or more of Baizhu's weapon because his weapon sucks even for him. But if I wait, I may not have the needed number of wishes the next time she gets rerun, especially if she gets rerun right after Shenhe.
