edit: managed to find every single amakumo fruit necessary for level 90 without coop, kind of a headache but not too bad honestly

Not sure how long the PS5 version of the game has been out, but since installing it on Monday before Tuesday’s update, the loading screens are like 2 seconds now, so bloody quick! Also got Aloy so I guess I have to farm her mats now. I did a pity pull on the new banner and got Diluc c2 bleh.

speaking of, I thought it was funny how obviously the abyss is promoting Raiden Shogun this rotation (which is common, they usually use it to promote new characters... but still). like gee I wonder which character can benefit from this boost thie most....

Wait till the next one which is a poison effect that ignores shields. A healer sure would be great for that, right?

That's what Barbara is for. 1k Auto-attak heals + a strong regen, massive healing burst, and a revive.

Is it me or does Sara suck. I manage to pull her on the way to stop pulling. I tried her in the trial instance but wasn't able to crank out good damage.

So, thoughts on Raiden C2? Have her at C1, got Sara along the way (meh).

I probably wouldn't go for it, only because enemy defense isn't a well-understood stat as far as I know, and the value of the constellation will completely depend on the DEF of whatever you're hitting at any given time (ie if something has really low DEF to begin with, it's not amping your damage by much at all). If it was DEF shred that other party members could make use if it'd be more valuable.

I was actually surprised how much I was able to get after running a circle around the whole island. So refreshing compared to some other pain in the butt materials.

I also didn't learn my lesson with the last weapon banner, so I'm considering pulling until I get a 5* and stopping after that.

This banner has been blursed for me. Raiden was pull #72. Pulled on the weapon banner and got Aquila Favonia on #69 (nice). Still waiting on my 5* from standard banner (only using free wishes) and that's up to around 70 now.

Was going to stop after getting Aquila, but convinced myself that at worst I could only get 1 copy of Unforged before getting Grasscutter (completely ignoring the possible cost to reach that). Thankfully my next 5* showed up in about 10 or 20 pulls and was Grasscutter.

So minor bragging post, but more of showing how addicting this can get and how easy it is to convince yourself to go for things you don't "need." I ended up spending ~$180 ($100, $50, & $30 Gems) to get the above, but I still have the majority of them left from the $100 bundle that I bought last. Still much better than what I was spending a year ago and I don't think I had bought anything other than Welkin and BP the past few months since I got lucky with pulls using saved up wishes.

Think it's been around since the end of April. I don't think I noticed as much of a difference as I did going from PS4 (console) to PS5.

legit just gonna say, Raiden Shogun is the most fun I've had with a new character in ages... maybe ever. the flow between building resolve and refillling your bursts feels rewarding AF and I just want to keep killing everything on the map for no reason other than sheer enjoyment. hats off to Mihoyo for a well-done character

I do wish they would lay off the duplicates a little and fill out the 5* weapon roster a bit. Thoma is another Pyro Polearm, Kokomi is another Hydro Catalyst, Aloy is another Cryo Bow. There's still no Hydro Claymore or Cryo Catalyst in the game at all, and the only Electro Catalyst is Lisa.

Edit: No Geo Bow yet either but I don't know how interested I am in that combo, lol.

I'll probably save for Yae as well. I was gonna hold for Thoma, but after seeing his leaked animations, his kit honestly kind of looks like a 5* Xinyan, which is gonna be a nope from me dawg.
