I'm on about 20 wishes saved rn, I think I'll keep saving for Yae. I have C3 Zhong so I'm good there, but C1 Xiao, C0 Shenhe and C0 Ganyu are all tempting. Yae is queen tho. we'll see though, maybe I'll have a moment of weakness and change my mind if Shenhe is better than the leaks have made her out to be

I've got all of Xiao/Ganyu/Zhongli (C1). If Shenhe is good I'll probably get her for Ayaka/Ganyu, if she's bad I might try to get Zhongli constellations to work toward his C6. That'll probably depend on who they tease as the next patch's new characters though.

Definitely getting that Keqing costume though.

If you don't have Ganyu I'd highly highly recommend getting her over anyone else in 2.4. No constellation or other character in the game will add more damage to your account than Ganyu will.

Better than Jean and Barbara's skin, but kinda too similar to their main outfits. They do such a good job on the default models it's hard to do better.

On the other hand, I've read she can be replaced as a DPS in the end, but no one is close to being as good shield as Zhongli... So I'm here racking my brains what to do, as I don't have either, or even Xiao so all those banners in 2.4 are killing me, lol.

If you have neither I would probably try to get Zhongli first and then throw whatever you can scrounge up at Ganyu's banner and cross your fingers. Ganyu is comfortably the best DPS in the game, by numbers and ease of use, but Zhongli's shield enables a lot of characters (including Ganyu), and he's also critical for any Geo team comp.

Does anyone here care about banners being spoiled? I know many like to plan their wish spending, so I typically don't worry about spoiling banners, but I figured I would ask anyways for future reference. Typically the reliable leaks show up a couple days before the official announcement. Even if everyone is okay with it, I'll still put less reliable leaks and beta testing info in spoiler tags.

Edit: Can one of the mods/admins that posts here please add the Community Character Builds link to the resources at the top of the page? Keqing Mains would be another good resource for anyone wanting more detailed info.

I mean, I guess if you're DEEEEEEEEEP into the lore, then that's fair. I don't think anyone here is.
But at this point now I've disconnected from the lore completely and all I care about is if a character looks good or not. I play the game mute and skip all dialogue as it's insufferable.

I wish I could turn off the idling conversations/movements that the characters do when they’re stationary, plus an option to completely skip dialogue, especially on the dailys that can just be walls of text.

So, do I really need/want Ganyu if I have Ayaka? I know one is more burst vs sustained, but whenever I feel it's appropriate to use Ayaka, she more than does the job, and I have other options for sustained DPS. With 50K gems, and Kazuha several months away, I feel I have the gems to spend on her, but it feels like she wouldn't see that much use, which feels like a waste, unltil/unless I pull for Kokimi, and use them both in the same team.

There's probably a very small amount of players that want to avoid any and all spoilers, but I agree with you about banners.

I see lore spoilers as not worth posting. Those that care about it probably don't want spoilers and those that don't, don't care about reading the spoilers.

I'm sure you know you don't "need" her, but she is very good and easy to use/build. If you're happy with your current DPS characters, I would say go for her if you like her design/playstyle. I don't see it being much of a problem skipping her since ranged DPS isn't really needed currently. At worst, you can always get her the next time she gets a rerun.

All of the 2.4 banners have been confirmed. I forgot the Lunar New Year will be happening during 2.4, so that explains why they leaked so early and MHY is announcing them now.

I really like the idea of a dialogue skip. Most of us have done most commissions multiple times already, so there's no reason to need to sit through it all again (and again).

It used to be there in some form! Previously, it was possible to skip dialogue reallllllly fast by just mashing the button. Then I think it was 2.0 or 2.1 they added some arbitrary delay where you can't skip as fast, which over time due to the wall of text tendencies it significantly drags out any cutscene, especially voiced ones.

My default idle character is Albedo. His animation with the stick is not too distracting and his voice doesn’t grate like the rest of them. Granted though, I tend to put the game on mute whenever I’m not playing it, so Albedo’s sayings could be super annoying too over time.

If you have ayaka I don't think you need ganyu.
