Looks like they are using Call of Duty as a bait, a “compromise” while looking to make the franchise like doom and elder scrolls exclusive.
Win for CoD financials (exclusivity would hurt it a lot anyways), win for exclusives, win for gamepass and xbox.

In other MS news, Sony signed the 10 year CoD deal with MS which means the acquisition is more or less confirmed, also Major Nelson (longtime community guy) is stepping down.

This was something I was expecting Sony to do at some point (separate the game collection from the online fee), not MS. That said, is there not an annual-fee option for any of the non-Core plans? Their store only showing single/3-month options. It makes PS+ premium at $119.99 annually look more appealing, despite its lack of big day-1 game releases. Originally Posted by Qalbert
