Physical sales have gotta be lagging badly for them to pull from storefronts. Choosing to do it right before the holidays and Black Friday in particular is a head scratcher though.

i was wondering, I had to get a new controller a couple weeks back and there was a not insignificant discount as if they were trying to move stock
Kind of surprising, to be honest; would expect at least controllers to remain stable seeing how they're considered to be decent controllers for PC at the very least?
The Walmarts in my area have downsized their physical media sections dramatically since the middle of the previous console gen, to remove dedicated full aisles in favor of more table display spaces for phones/tablets/chromebooks. If it isn't a new game/movie/music release, it's probably already pulled from shelf and slapped on their online marketplace. It's hit me a bit since I have shit net, and vastly prefer physical when possible, which the stores used to heavily discount within 3-4 months to the point of even being cheaper than digital sales at times.
Sucks since I'd at least want them to keep stock of consoles (and accessories) since those things are friggen large to get shipped, even though MS did a far better job at that compared to the monolithic box the PS5 (or OG Xbone) came in.

According to AMD, the next Xbox is coming in 2027

I believe she is the person who was behind Co-Pilot integration so...get ready for AI Xbox
"Xbox Anywhere" was Sarah Bond's project and she had the full backing of Spencer. It's being blamed, internally, as the reason Xbox is failing.
Well it's certainly the reason why I don't need an Xbox anymore. I can just buy all of Xboxes games on PC. PlayStation is going down the same road but it is definitely not as bad as Microsoft's approach.

New Xbox console has been revealed, code named Project Helix. It looks to be…an Xbox branded PC. Will play both Xbox and PC games. So like, their own version of Steam Box I guess?

Lmao.Starting today, Game Pass Ultimate drops from $29.99 to $22.99 a month. PC Game Pass will also drop from $16.49 to $13.99 a month. Prices may vary by region.
Beginning this year, future Call of Duty titles won’t join Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass at launch. New Call of Duty games will be added to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass during the following holiday season (about a year later), while existing Call of Duty titles already in the library will continue to be available.
As someone who doesn't give a shit about Call of Duty I'd say that's a nice move
yeah just makes the original price hike look even dumber
Yeah, smaller price and no CoD is two good changes, but this is still higher than the previous price, so it's just the usual corporate shenanigans
