Xbox is raising prices AGAIN, and DISCONTINUING the 2TB model completely. This shit is insane. Price changes take effect August 1st.

Xbox Series S 512GB: $399.99 ---> $499.99
Xbox Series S 1TB: $449.99 ---> $599.99
Xbox Series X 1TB Digital: $599.99 ---> $749.99
Xbox Series X 1TB: $649.99 ---> $799.99

Microsoft’s advice to gamers upset about the price tag? They literally say to buy a used console for cheaper or buy from retailers that offer payment plans and interest free financing.

I am starting to be glad I'm old and don't game as much as I used to. Time to set up a nice retro arcade on my laptop and go through the classics for a few years. These prices are nuts.

I've heard talk that the new MSI handheld is $1800 and one from Lenovo is supposed to be around $2000. Sucks beyond belief but I guess that's just what this shit costs now. People are going freak out at the price of new consoles.

I've been recommending to folks to do everything they can to keep their current hardware alive as long as possible. Turn off overclocking, do what you can to protect anything that's even half decent. Shit ain't gonna be cheap again for a long time.
