I'm worried that if you had the WiiU version, that there will be some sort of carry over that's missed out on, if carry over ends up being a thing.
I hope they change the durability system in this one. I was not a fan of it. However this is nintendo we are talking about![]()
Yeah, that was definitely my biggest complaint in the first one as well. I'm also worried this was announced way too early and we are waiting a very long time for this.
The lack of variety altogether (weapons, enemies, environments, dungeons) was my main complaint, so now that the framework is there, I hope this sequel can feel like a full game in comparison to the original since it's full-on creation mode for the devs.
They better call it death of the wild.
hopefully this means BotW 2 will have real dungeons
Make real dungeons and boss battles this time around. Completely ditch the durability system. Populate the world with real end game mobs and not lynel reskin #32.
Complaints off the top of my head they can fix with the sequel to not make the world feel so empty and boring.
but BotW was the best game ever made you can't possibly have criticisms toward it
More like Breath of Majora's Mask. Gimme some dark Zelda please.
Excited.
I can kid myself and say I'm not buying it unless it has original dungeon formats, but I probably will anyway.. here's hoping.
Gonna just keep watching this for the next few hours, but a few takeaways:
- short hair Zelda
- seems Twilight-ish
- malice is back??
- pretty sure that's Ganondorf's corpse.. ..and if so:
Seeing as they showed it and it reuses a lot of BotW stuff, I'm hoping for holiday 2020.10,000 years will give you such a crick in the neck
Just go back and make a real Zelda game and not a shitty sandbox game wearing a Zelda skin.
it wasn't a perfect game but it's hard to imagine just how contrarian / purist you'd need to be to consider it a shitty one
horizon: zero dawn was better
At least for me, it was kinda like what happened with Fallout 4 where once the shine wore off, I realized I was playing an overwhelmingly "ok" game, and definitely not up to the standards of either series.
Of course in both cases it took many many hours to get to that point.
Please don’t make me complete 120 mini puzzles. Please.
I'm being a tad mean the game was functional but man if the little bits of shit didn't gnaw away at you slowly.
